About Eggplante!
Eggplante! is a blog showcasing local and international talent as they make their way through Toronto. Consider it a slightly satirical take on the entertainment industry, with some purple vegetables thrown in for good measure. The long and short of it is that we are striving to do something unique and original with interviews, show reviews, and press coverage. You won’t ever hear us ask a question like “Who is your inspiration for this album?”, because every other interviewer does it. We go for the hard hitting questions. Things like “Nutella or Peanut Butter?”, or perhaps “Who would win in a bar fight: you or Kim Kardashian?” Stuff like that will keep you coming back. And some snarky wit can’t hurt, right?
Another facet of Eggplante is the interactive media industry. We love to review video games, peripherals, interview those in the industry, and attend events such as Fan Expo and E3. Look for more of this in 2011 as we attend more and more events!
